On All Souls’ Day, Nov. 2, Bishop Boyea presided over the interment of the uncollected ashes of 30 people from the Sparrow Medical Examiner’s Office. Jim Collom of St. Martha Parish in Okemos organized the service. He said, “It is fitting that on this day we, as Catholics, look for those who have no one to see to their final disposition and to honor and pray for them.”
