New president and executive director for Jackson Catholic schools
Bishop Boyea has named Timothy DeWitt of Jackson as the new president of Lumen Christi Catholic School and executive director of the Jackson Catholic Schools system. Timothy and his wife, Colleen, have been active members of St. Mary Star of the Sea parish for 35 years.
Timothy said: “I am honored to serve as the next president and executive director. My professional journey has allowed me to have hands-on experience transforming the financial health and operation of an international bank as well as an institution of higher learning. I am proud of the leadership and collaborative roles I have played through the years, and am excited to answer the call to not only live my Catholic faith, but to share and participate in true faith-based education.”
