Diocese of Lansing Schools See Large Increase in Enrollment

The Diocese of Lansing celebrated Catholic Schools Week in late January, announcing that schools in the diocese have recorded a 6 percent increase in year-to-year enrollment, the greatest increase in 20 years. The largest increases occurred in the lower grades, with a 21 percent rise in pre-kindergarten student numbers. Classes at the kindergarten and grade 2 and 3 levels are the largest in the last 5-6 years. Overall, 23 out of 27 diocesan elementary schools have seen increased enrollment.
