Catholics Gather for Annual Knights of Columbus Family Night for Vocations

Catholics from around the diocese gathered on Aug. 13 at Jackson Field in Lansing to enjoy an evening of Lansing Lugnuts baseball, fun and fellowship and to show their support for vocations.

Bishop Earl Boyea joined seminarians, priests, religious sisters and parishioners attending the game. He said, “I am particularly grateful to the Knights of Columbus for once again coordinating this event, and, in particular, to Mr. Cliff Farr for his tireless leadership. Let us continue to pray for our young people to respond to the call of God in their lives to the priesthood, religious life, and holy marriage and family life!”

Brother Knights served as the color guard for the evening and led the crowd in singing the national anthem before the game.
