St. Mary on the Lake in Manitou Beach will host an All Saints’ Day Mass at 9:30 a.m.

Brighton’s Holy Spirit Parish will host a "Guardians of Grace" family event Nov. 2. The event will be a Topic Night addressing “Keys to Living and Loving the Truth about Marriage" with speakers Nate and Elizabeth Schleuter. The event runs from 6-9 p.m.

St. Mary on the Lake in Manitou Beach hosts a Mass of Remembrance at 6 p.m.

Most Holy Trinity School will host its Annual Dinner Raffle & Auction on Saturday, Nov. 4. The event is entitled Ebony & Ivory and will be a black & white gala featuring dueling pianos. St. Mary, Pinckney hosts its Emmaus Night on Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. Join us in the church for praise and worship, Scripture and prayer.

A country-style community breakfast will be held at St. Mary, Pinckney on Nov. 5 from 8:30-11 a.m. The event is in the multi-use room, and the only cost is a free-will donation.

St. Joseph Parish in Dexter hosts its 18th Silent Auction on Nov. 11 at Lakelands Golf & Country Club, 8760 Chilson Road, Brighton. The event will include dinner and silent and live auctions, surrounded by the music of the Beatles.  

St. Mary Catholic School in Pinckney will make tours available as part of Discover Catholic Schools Week Nov. 12-18.

Doors open at 12:15 p.m., with bingo play beginning at 1 p.m. The event is hosted in the St. Paul School gymnasium at 811 E. Oliver St. in Owosso, and it will include 20 games, specials, refreshments and a 50/50 drawing. Must be 18 to play, and remember to bring your own daubers. Free parking is available at St. Joseph Church across the street. All proceeds go to the Altar Society to help pay for linen care, hosts and candles.

A Miriam Discernment Dinner & Discussion for women will be hosted Nov. 14 from 6-8:30 p.m. at Emmaus house in East Lansing. The theme is Servants of God’s Love – on Mary’s Role in our Discernment Journeys. Contact Dawn Hausmann for more details at dhausmann@dioceseoflansing.org.

Pinckney’s St. Mary Catholic School celebrates the National Day of Giving to Catholic Schools Nov. 14.

Holy Spirit School will be hosting its Chili Cook-Off fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 18 (tentative) along with a silent auction and basket raffle that evening. St. Mary, Pinckney will host a Trivia Night Nov. 18 beginning at 6 p.m. in its multi-purpose room. The event is sponsored by the St. Mary School's Parent Teacher Council.

St. Mary, Pinckney hosts its Youth Group Nov. 29. Middle school participants will be present from 6:30-7:30 p.m., and high school participants will stay from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Arrive at entrance door 17. 


ASL AND SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRIES

There will be an ASL Interpreted Mass on Nov. 4 at 4:30 p.m. at St. Mary Church located at 201 N. Westphalia in Westphalia.

There will be an ASL Interpreted Mass on Nov. 11 at 4:30 p.m. at St. Gerard Church located on 4437 W. Willow Highway in Lansing.

Our next Special Needs Mass is Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. in the St. Francis Retreat Center Chapel located at 703 E. Main Street in Dewitt, followed by light refreshments in the dining room. There will be a Deaf Mass on Nov. 18 at 4 p.m. in the St. Mary Cathedral Church located on 219 Seymour Avenue in Lansing.

Our December Special Needs Mass/Annual Holiday Party is Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. in the St. Francis Retreat Center - Bethany House, located at 703 E. Main Street in Dewitt. Our Special Needs Mass starts at 2 p.m., followed by a catered meal in the Bethany House Dining Room. The first, second and third Sundays of the month, Masses are ASL Interpreted at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church located at 530 Elizabeth Street in Ann Arbor.

Every Sunday, the 11 a.m. Mass is ASL Interpreted at Holy Redeemer Church located on 1227 E. Bristol Road in Burton.
