Livingston County Catholic Charities hosts an Elder Abuse Recovery Support Group on the third Tuesday of each month. This is a group where seniors can see they are not alone; a safe haven where they can talk about their abuse and know they are not going to be judged or ridiculed – they will feel safe sharing their stories. The professionals facilitating this group help seniors find resources to help them continue the path of healing and recovery. Now meeting in-person! A Caregiver Support Group meets the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 5 to 6 p.m. at Be Our Guest at Livingston County Catholic Charities. Respite care provided with advance notice. Due to COVID-19, Caregiver Support Groups are currently occurring via Zoom. Please call 517.546.9910 to reserve your spot.


Livingston County Catholic Charities offers Substance Abuse Engagement Groups three times per week. All persons with substance abuse issues, past and present, are welcome to attend these groups, free of charge. All are welcome. Currently, due to COVID-19, pre-registration is necessary. Call Jessica at 517.375.1652 to register. Mondays 5–6:30 p.m. in-person, Mondays 6:30-8 p.m. in-person, Wednesdays 10-11:30 a.m. via Zoom, and Fridays 10-11:30 a.m. via Zoom.


St. Mary, Pinckney will host the Stations of the Cross in the church at 7 p.m. on Mar. 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31.


Emmaus Night will be held at St. Mary, Pinckney on Saturday, Mar. 4 at 7 p.m. Come and spend time with our lord in worship, in prayer ministry, in Scripture, in adoration.


Owosso K of C Council 1139 Dueling Pianos event will be on Saturday Mar. 4 in our Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. with pianos starting at 7 p.m.. We will have the same company from last year...AND THEY WERE AWESOME! Come join us for a great night of entertainment!!


St. Mary, Pinckney will host a Men's Club Country Style Breakfast on Sunday, Mar. 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the multi-use room. Cost is simply a free will donation, with proceeds to benefit St. Mary School.


There will be a Blood Drive at St. Thomas Aquinas at 955 Alton, East Lansing, in the Fr. Mac Hall downstairs. The event is set for Friday, Mar. 10 from 12 to 5:45 p.m. Go to redcrossblood.org/give to make an appointment.


St. Mary, Pinckney hosts its Youth Group on Mar. 15. Middle school students will meet from 6 to 7 p.m., while high school students will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Come for fellowship, fun and pizza!


Owosso K of C Council 1139 Annual Fundraiser $100 raffle tickets are available in our Council Lounge. Winners will be drawn Friday, Mar. 17 at 9 p.m. This year the tickets are only $50 ea. or (3) for $100.

The Knights of Columbus at St. Mary, Pinckney will host a St. Patrick's Dance on Mar. 18 from 6-10 p.m. in the multi-use room. Stay tuned for more details!


Livingston County Catholic Charities will host its annual Salute to the Stars on Saturday, Apr. 1 at Crystal Gardens, Howell, MI.  Join LCCC for an evening of gratitude and recognition. Enjoy a wonderful program, delicious dinner, and fabulous entertainment. This event provides vital funding for all agency programs. The Owosso Knights of Columbus, Council 1139, at 1259 E. Main St. in Owosso, will host its Broasted Chicken Dinners on Apr. 2. Join us for a delicious dinner featuring our fantastic chicken, salad bar, beverage and even dessert!  Event runs from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the K of C Hall. Adults $15


St. Robert Bellarmine (Flushing), in collaboration with Good Shepherd (Montrose), will be hosting their Annual Men’s Welcome Retreat from Saturday, Apr. 22 – Sunday, Apr. 23, at St. Robert Bellarmine, 310 N. Cherry St., Flushing, MI 48433.


On Mar. 17 at 7 p.m., St. Mary Queen of Angels Parish at 4413 Morrish Rd. in Swartz Creek, will host a Euchre Tournament fundraiser sponsored by its Knights of Columbus council.  For more information, call 810.635.3684.


A youth/adult Christian Rock Concert by "CHOSEN" will be held Sunday, Apr. 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church parking lot (school gym if raining).
