The Bible Course from the Catholic Biblical School of Michigan is starting at St. Thomas Aquinas in East Lansing on Sept. 18. Catholic Charities of Jackson, Lenawee and Hillsdale Counties invites you to attend our summer Zero K fundRACEing event on Friday, July 28. August School Uniform Drive: Catholic Charities of Shiawassee & Genesee Counties in Flint is looking for gently used school uniforms for our Community Closet. The Dad & Lad Golf Outing was created in 1997 to encourage father and son camaraderie and charity. It has been a great success in supporting the St. Louis Center. Prayer & healing for post-abortive women – The ENTERING CANAAN Brighton team meets with women in a confidential and prayerful setting, journeying from the pain of abortion to the freedom of God’s mercy, forgiveness and healing. Our Day of Gathering on Aug. 19 includes prayer, lunch and group sharing. Days of Prayer & Healing will be held on Sept. 23, Oct. 21, Nov. 18 and Dec. 16, and will include Mass, adoration, confession, witness talks, lunch and group sharing. Summer Scripture Days will be hosted at St. Francis Retreat Center in DeWitt, Aug. 22–24. Choose Sundays from 9:45-11:30 a.m., Mondays from 5:30-6:45 p.m. or Tuesdays from 5-6:15 p.m. beginning the week of Sept. 17. The St. Joseph Parish in St. Johns and the Catholic Community of St. Jude in Dewitt are holding a Weekend Grief Support Workshop on Oct. 6 from 7-9 p.m. and Oct. 7 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the St. Jude location. “Grieving with great Hope” offers a prayerful, practical and personal approach for anyone who is mourning the loss of a family member or friend. The ASL Interpreted Masses at St. Gerard Parish in Lansing are the 4:30 p.m. Masses on July 1 and 15 and Aug. 5 and 19. No RSVP is needed.
The first, second and third Sundays of the month, Masses are ASL Interpreted at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Ann Arbor.
Every Sunday, the 11 a.m. Mass is ASL Interpreted at Holy Redeemer Church in Burton.
