We are all called to be saints. With the help of God’s grace, we can all become saints. A great fillip in pursuing that heavenly goal is, of course, the heroic witness of our canonized brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. That’s why this month’s FAITH podcast recommendation is Saints Alive.

Launched in 2021, Saints Alive is a podcast for children that retells the lives of the saints as adventure stories. The tagline is “stories of the saints for young saints in the making.” Episodes mix heroism, virtue, humor, and immersive audio drama rather than simply offering dry biographies.

Each episode typically runs from 10 to 35 minutes. Some lives are split across multiple parts. They cover well-known saints such as Pope Saint John Paul II, Saint Teresa of Calcutta, and Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, as well as less familiar saints and biblical stories such as David and Goliath. The production values are very high, including well-written scripts, professional voice actors, and cinematic sound.

There are roughly 80–90 episodes across several seasons. Ratings are high (around 4.8 on Apple Podcasts, with over a thousand reviews). They also offer a free coloring book, a store with Catholic art, a monthly kids’ artwork contest, and occasional youth missions and speakers.
