Former Powers Catholic Principal Honored With Sister Dorita Wotiska Award

Former Powers Catholic High School Principal Sally Bartos received the 2021 Sister Dorita Wotiska Award from the Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools (MANS) in October, recognizing her creative commitment to faith-based education. Sally served the Powers Catholic community in various roles for more than 23 years.

According to MANS Executive Director Brian D. Broderick, “The MANS Board instituted the Sister Dorita Wotiska Award to recognize the tireless work of administrators who drive innovation and improvement in their buildings and coach, mentor and enable excellence in others; the awardee exemplifies the Christian faith and operates as servant leader.”
