Catholic nurses, student nurses, retired nurses and Catholic health care professionals are invited to join the newly formed Diocese of Lansing Council of Catholic Nurses, an affiliate of the National Association of Catholic Nurses-USA. An inaugural Mass was celebrated May 5, during Nurses’ Week, at St. Mary Star of the Sea Parish in Jackson.

The council is under the spiritual direction of Father Tim Nelson. Members of the council will gather the first Wednesday of every month in Jackson with a focus on nursing ethics, professional formation and fellowship.
