Lord Jesus, 

look with love and mercy upon our country 

in its 250th year.

You have guided our past with your protecting hand 

and you have blessed us 

with gifts of liberty, 

abundance, 

and a zeal for freedom.

Teach us to use these gifts 

to serve your will and fulfill your law.

Through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, 

shape our liberty with truth, 

consecrate our abundance to generosity,

and direct our freedom toward virtue.

Guide our hearts according to your Sacred Heart.

With your help, 

let our nation reflect your goodness.

May your justice and peace flourish today,

and endure for future generations.
