Littlest Saints
This month FAITH Magazine recommends another delightful Catholic television series aimed at children and families. “Littlest Saints” brings the lives of history’s greatest Catholic heroes to life through the eyes and voices of kids. Produced by a team focused on joyful, accessible storytelling, the show uses child actors to portray the saints, blending drama, comedy, and adventure in each short episode. It looks and feels like a kids’ show made for kids by kids. For example, the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe stars a baby-faced St. Juan Diego attired in sneakers, sombrero, and with penciled-on facial hair. The goal is to inspire young viewers to see themselves in these heavenly heroes, modeling the Catholic faith in an entertaining way.
“Littlest Saints” is exclusively available on FORMED.org, a streaming platform offering Catholic content for all ages. In total, about a dozen episodes are available. Every parish in the Diocese of Lansing has an account with FORMED.org, which is there for you and your family to explore, learn, and enjoy. To find out how to access the account, ask at your parish office.
