Dear Sisters and Brothers, join me on a pilgrimage. We will be walking, after Mass at Lugnuts Stadium in downtown Lansing, to the Cathedral on the Saturday of Corpus Christi weekend. We have been talking about the Eucharist last year, and this year about being witnesses. This short journey will be a celebration of both of these conversations. However, this is no longer just about words. It is actions and these speak very loudly. They witness to our faith in Jesus Christ. In addition, this event, occurring during this Holy Year will provide an opportunity for all of us to make a plenary indulgence, hopefully for some loved one who has died or even for an unknown stranger who seeks to make that final journey from purgatory to the glory of heaven. So, please join us to worship, to pray, to walk, and to witness.
