Annual Rose Mass Honors Catholic Health Workers
On March 26, Bishop Boyea celebrated the annual Rose Mass honoring Catholic health workers at St. Patrick Parish in Brighton. At the dinner for guests following the Mass, Dr. Philip Fleming was awarded the St. Camillus Award honoring his 42 years of service to women and their babies. The evening also featured a panel discussion on Conscience Protection by Louis Brown, JD, of Christ Medicus Foundation, Donna Harrison, MD, of the American Association of Pro-life OB/GYNs, and Father Timothy Nelson, MD, pastor of St. Mary Star of the Sea Parish in Jackson.
